When you leave a room you turn off the light to save electricity, right? With Energy Smart Zoning, you can do exactly the same thing. Your house can be split into different zones, right down to a single room.
With Variable Fan Technology, ESP Plus can adjust its airflow so that it operates right down to 20% of total airflow capacity, delivering just the right amount of conditioned air to the zones you want it to.
The energy savings in an ESP Plus system can make a huge difference to the cost of living, delivering performance that is up to 60% more efficient than conventional fixed speed air conditioners, which over 5 years would save up to $3,500 on your electricity costs for cooling alone.
ESP Plus has a digital compressor that can operate down to 10% of its total capacity, whereas even the best performing conventional inverters can only get down to 40%. That’s a big deal because it means you only use the amount of energy you need.
Generally speaking, conventional inverters don’t work below 40% of capacity. They simply turn on, the off, then on again as they struggle to keep a set temperature. The ESP Plus digital system is a lot more precise, maintaining temperature with +/- 0.3°C at the sensor location.
Unlike a conventional inverter, which can take between 5 and 10 minutes to get up to full capacity, an ESP Plus system can get up to maximum capacity almost immediately – perfect for when you need to get comfy fast.
With the optional Ultima functionality, you can set different temperatures in different zones, all at the same time.
Different areas of the home have different temperature loads at different times of the day. With sensors in each zone, Ultima ensures the set temperature is maintained across the home and rooms are not over conditioned, further minimising energy usage.
The ESP Plus’ L Series controllers come packed full of features as standard. With an easy to use design, choice of colour options, contemporary design & premium finishes all included, the L series sets the benchmark for analogue controls.
ESP Plus’ L Series Controllers come with Near Field Communication (NFC) included as standard. This feature allows for quick and easy access to operating instructions when you place your NFC supported smart phone on the ‘NFC’ section of our controller. The ESP Plus also has the ability to operate with a bridging platform that, when used in conjunction with an ActronAir BMS card, can assist in integrating with over 40 home automation systems, including Control4, Savant, Elan, Vantage, Push and KNX.
